I'm finally... ALMOST DONE... with my Wolf costume.
Color me excited.
Pretty much all I have left to do is the holster. Also... well... I have a blaster, technically. Though it looks nothing like his. It's actually a squirt gun. ^^ If I have time, I'll probably work on it a bit to see if I can't make it look more like his, but otherwise, I might just say to hell with it and take it as is.
Besides that, uh... I have a few more details that I need to get done, though unless you've studied his outfit as long as I have, you probably won't even notice that they're not there. But I know they're not there... so I must do them. Oh, and I want to try and make my belt loops bigger. For some reason, they're like... teeny-tiny, so my friggin' belt won't go through them! This wouldn't be bad except that my pants are quite a bit too large for me, so it's always falling below the belt line and then it just looks dumb. I'll have to figure out how to work something out for that...

But anyway, someone seriously needs to get me away from a camera. I had way too much fun taking pictures. So... I now have a picture dump.

Overall am really pleased with how it turned out. After my performance art thing where I wore what I had of it already done, I figured out what stuff wasn't exactly going to last while walking around. So a lot of what I've been doing the last couple days, besides adding new stuff, has been redoing a few of the older things so that they don't fall apart. The pants, for instance, were pure hot glue before, but now I've riveted the gold things on. Same with the gloves, though that was simply because the little eyelets I had glued on had a tendency to fall off VERY easily. Now I don't have to worry about that. Oh, and the metal thing on the back of the boots - I actually screwed those suckers in to make sure they stayed. XD

I need to get a tan, seriously. My version of Wolf's got darker skin and here I come friggin' pasty as sour cream. I have some sunless tanner that's like... 'build-a-tan' or something, but I'm a bit scared to use it 'cuz I've never done it before and am quite worried that it could be a disaster, and then I'd be pretty well screwed. >_> My mom told me about this thing they do at the salon where I get my haircut where you can get a really awesome full-body spray tan that looks pretty much perfect and lasts for about 7-10 days. I've been thinking about that... though it costs like... $40, and I'm already low on money. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it simply for that reason. So yeah, I guess we'll see.

How can Wolf be fully complete unless he has a Fox plushie? Seriously!! Ahahaha.
I need to make him a little tan jacket... but I don't have any fabric. If I have time I might stop by the fabric store again to get some. It definitely won't be the world's great jacket, but I just need something so that you KNOW it's a jacket. That way... he'll look even more like Fox.

So yeah, I guess that's it. Acen's in what... 4 days? 3 days? Something like that. My sister and I won't be going up until Friday night since she has to work. I'll be driving to Iowa City to pick her up and then it's only about 4 hours from there to Chicago. We won't get there until rather late, but at least we already have our badges and everything!! That is VERY nice. At Detour, we had to stand in a HUUUUGE line to get our badges when we first got there. Not fun.
On Saturday, I'm meeting up with the Falco and Fox and goin' to the Brawl photoshoot and all that jazz. Sooooo very excited. I can't wait to see both of their costumes all finished!!

*yawn*
Wow, I'm tired. Maybe that's because it's like... 2 in the friggin' morning. I need to go to sleep.
